Portraits and Candids
We offer portrait and candid photography services in the Charlotte, NC and surrounding area. Our approach is photojournalistic, meaning we capture images that tell stories, reveal personalities and convey emotion. We take the time to get to know you and what you’re looking for, and we blend in during our photo sessions to capture the emotions and personalities of our subjects.
For families or individuals, we charge a nominal "sitting fee" of $100 for up to 1 hour of photography, paid in advance. Once the session is over, we prepare the images for you to review in secure online proofing galleries. You make print and product selections and order online, and unlike other portrait services, there is no minimum order requirement.
For preschools, day care centers and similar children groups, we do not charge for our time assuming the pictures we take can be posted for sale to the parents and families. We have a blast with these sessions, and blend in with the kids at play - letting them be themselves. The popular choice for these sessions is black and white photography.
Past school sessions are not available for public viewing, but we can provide access to these galleries upon request; please contact us
For most other photography-related assignments, we charge by the hour or daily to produce a requested body of work. Since these types of assignments vary widely, we customize our pricing to each need. We're more than just photo takers, and can create marketing collateral, posters and other similar graphic design products.
Event and Sports Photography
Since 2002 our company “Memories Ink” has provided exclusive photography services for local, regional and national sporting events all across the United States as well as the United Kingdom. We've covered the many major events, and have been published in numerous publications. We have 1,000's of images covering a range of topics, subjects, locations, moods and emotions. As we work on posting a searchable library online, please let us know if you have any specific requests.

Bright Photographic is a family run business with a passion for photography. Clark and Cricket Burget own Bright Photographic, and run it from Charlotte, NC. Clark is the photographer and Cricket is the “front office”, and our two sons are the full-time helpers. We also work with experienced freelance photographers and development resources as needed depending on the location and type of event or products. Our business is family run, but thoroughly professional. We take great pride in our work, and cherish the chance to touch the lives of others through our photography.
Our goal is simple - we want to positively impact the lives of those we work with.
